Texas Eclipse is excited to announce Skylar Warde has committed to Texas A&M International University. Skylar will be a 2019 graduate of Vista Ridge High School. She has been a member of the Texas Eclipse family for 7 seasons and will be a stellar addition to the Lady Dustdevil’s volleyball program.
Ashlee Motola, Skylar’s 17 Under Armour head coach last season had this to say, “Skylar is one of the most passionate players I have ever coached. She always challenges herself and her teammates to work harder. An expansive skill set allows Sky to play many positions, and she is always willing to play wherever the team needs her. This is one of many reasons I know she will be successful at the next level.”
Skylar’s 16 Under Armour head coach the previous season, Lindsay Thompson also added, “Few players can come on to a new team midway through a club season and make an immediate impact - but I had the pleasure of watching Skylar do just that in her 16s club season. To anybody that watches her, what is immediately noticeable is how much love she has for the game. Skylar plays with a certain fire that not only energizes her teammates but coaches too. It has been so fun watching her grow as a player through the Eclipse program and I look forward to watching her continue to succeed at the next level.”
Congratulations to Skylar Warde and her family. We are proud of you and wish you nothing but the best. Good luck as you enter the next stage in your volleyball career!
