Texas Eclipse is excited to announce Brettney Fuller has committed to Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Fuller will be a 2018 graduate of Salado High School.
Nickie Brereton, Brettney’s 18 Black head coach, had this to say about her, “Brett has always been the hardest working and most positive person on the court. She gives her best every practice and constantly tries to improve herself, as well as the team. She is an absolute blast to coach because she will always try to do anything you ask of her to the best of her ability.”
Texas Eclipse Director of Coaching and Player Development, Heather Anderson, had this to add, “Brett is the kind of athlete you want on your team. She shows up to every practice with a smile on her face, ready to work hard, and always leaves it all on the court. We have been lucky to have had Brett as part of the Texas Eclipse family. The Lady Bobcats are getting a great athlete but more importantly, a great person. We can’t wait to see all that you’ll accomplish!”
Bretteny’s previous head coach, Nicole Hajka, also had a few words, “Brettney has the heart of a champion and a heart that leads. She respects the training, honors the commitment, and cherishes the results. She is amazing!”
Congratulations to Brettney and her family! We are proud of you and wish you the best of luck as you continue your volleyball career collegiately. Go Lady Bobcats!
