By Eclipse, 11/09/17, 7:00PM CST

We are excited to announce that Grace Rich has committed to Mississippi College. Texas Eclipse is very proud to see Grace, a 2018 graduate, head to Clinton, Mississippi to join the Lady Choctaws! Grace currently attends Hyde Park High School and will be entering her 7th and final season with Texas Eclipse as the libero for 18 Under Armour.

Grace has an outstanding work ethic, great court presence, and is the definition of a true competitor. She is always willing to do anything necessary to contribute to her team’s overall success. Grace has made four appearances at the USAV Girls’ Junior National tournament, and as a 14U player, she led her team to a 2nd place finish at JOs in the USA division.

Grace’s 17 Under Armour head coach, Ashlee Motola, had these words to share about her, “Grace personifies greatness not only on the court but off it as well.  She works hard, never gives up and is a great teammate.  She has persevered through injuries, only to come back stronger and more determined than ever.  Mississippi College is getting a great one, and I know she will be wildly successful there. Congrats, Grace!”

Heather Anderson, Grace’s 18 Under Armour head coach, had this to add, “Grace is an exceptional athlete but more importantly, an exceptional teammate. She is selfless and supportive while demanding excellence from her team. It does not matter her circumstance or the team’s, she stays strong and always gets the job done. Mississippi College is getting an amazing addition to their team. I can’t wait to see what her future holds!”

We wish Grace the best as she enters the next stage in her volleyball career and we know she will be successful! Go Choctaws!
